Assistant contracts manager

The contracts team is looking for an outstanding individual with a proven track record in managing contracts whilst achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. Experience of managing budgets is essential and a housing management background is desirable. The candidate will have an ability to work under pressure, managing a number of contracts and delivering targets in challenging conditions.

Salary: £35k

Team administrator  

To support the better homes team with admin support, organising and scheduling appointments for inspections, letter writing and maintaining spreadsheets. Candidates to have knowledge of effective letter writing, administration, excellent communication skills and be computer literate

Salary: c.£20k

Clerk of works  

Complete quality control work on both new build and major planned maintenance projects from inception to completion to ensure that each phase is defect free, meets the required quality standards and contributes to increase customer satisfaction. Experience of working in a technical environment, ideally from a site management background; with NVQ or equivalent qualification in construction or engineering, excellent communication skills (written and oral); able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and be computer literate.

Salary: £35-40k

Mechanical project manager  

Mechanical engineer to manage and deliver projects within the Better Homes Delivery Programme to the agreed time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction targets and standards. Candidates to have either a degree. NVQ or equivalent qualification in construction or engineering, knowledge of effective specification writing, NEC Form of Contract and contract administration, excellent communication skills and be computer literate.

Salary: c.£50k
