Community Fibre has put up fibre-optic cable to 38 blocks on the Churchill Gardens estate. The next step is to connect the fibre to the cable in the blocks.
Originally Community Fibre had planned to use existing ducting from PDHU (the heating system on the estate) to run fibre across the estate and connect to the blocks. However, this has not been technically possible in a number of locations and CityWest Homes is currently considering an application from Community Fibre to complete their connections by excavating and laying underground ducts in a total of 20 locations on the estate. Full details of the excavation locations can be found in the document below.
Further details of the services that will be available from Community Fibre can be found on their website at www.communityfibre.co.uk
