Clean sweep for cleaners
The cleaning team on some of our estates including St John's Wood, Maida Vale, Church Street and Queen's Park beat out 76 other teams to win first prize at the World Skills UK Team Clean Challenge.
As well as winning the overall competition, Antonio Rodriguez from Queen’s Park and Dolce Ricardo from St Johns Wood won best supervisor and best operative respectively.
We’re really proud of them! Our cleaners are studying for an NVQ to help them perform their duties to the highest possible standard and give them recognition for their work. Estate cleaning is sometimes regarded as unskilled work when in fact it takes a hard work and dedication in sometimes uncomfortable conditions to achieve the clean estates for residents to enjoy.
