Garden party launch for Local Management Agreement
Orsett Terrace and Gloucester Gardens residents came together to enjoy a garden party for the launch of their Local Management Agreement (LMA) on Saturday 23 July.
Fasil Raja , village manager, Bayswater and West Streets, commented : “I am delighted by the turnout for the launch of the LMA , which sets out our plans for the management of the estates and gardens. We were also really pleased that 12 new residents have now volunteered to join the gardening committee, who will be responsible for overseeing the gardening works."
Residents enjoyed refreshments, music and a raffle. Entertainment for the children included a bouncy castle provided by the local children's centre and face painting.
Local resident of Gloucester Terrace, Mary Hoare said: 'I have lived in the area for a very long time and this was one of the best events I have attended. It was so lovely to see the community come together and helps everyone become aware of the beautiful gardens."
Many members of the estate team also turned out to help on the day. A big thank you goes to the resident relations team, in particular Ian Merriman, Shaima Sabri, a local resident, and Mervyn Thomason for all their support.
