Glasgow House reception area hosts coffee morning

The reception area of Glasgow House was the perfect location for Maida Vale’s recent coffee morning on 26 September. A number of residents gave up their morning trip to the shops to stop in and meet with village manager, Montserrat Fas and Kay McCormack, Chair of the Residents Association.

Montserrat said: “This coffee morning was very successful. We had over 20 residents pass through and stop for a chat and a coffee. The residents were able ask questions about the works due to be carried out to improve the reception area at Glasgow House, as well as find out about other up and coming events and projects being organised by the estate office team. Some residents made new friends and found out that they had so much more in common than they realised.”

Mrs Sylvia Brown said: “it was great fun and I hope this will be the start of many more get together’s.”
