Grosvenor and Regency estate prepare for a royal wedding on their doorstep

All eyes will be on Westminster this Friday as the royal couple say I do. But for Grosvenor and Regency estate, the wedding feels closer to home than most. Located just two streets away from the main event, local residents and staff from CityWest Homes have all been preparing for the big day.

Local resident Nicolette Bottomley said “it’s really exciting because the event is happening practically on our doorstep. We’re just two streets away from the action and it’s been amazing to see people from all over the world coming here to visit.”

The local community have decorated the estate and the team at CityWest Homes have welcomed the celebrations into their office. Decking the building in colourful bunting and union jack flags, they have set the scene for a fantastic celebration.

Kate Donovan, Grosvenor and Regency estate manager, CityWest Homes, said “seeing all the fantastic decorations around the area made me want to do the same for our estate office. The feedback from visiting residents has been so positive- they’ve told us it completely cheered up their day and left them with a smile on their face.”

Grosvenor and Regency residents will soon be joining the many visitors from around the globe to catch a glimpse of the royals. They are one of the many estates proving that a wedding doesn’t just bring two people together- it joins the rest of the community too.
