London is opening hidden doors
Open House London is celebrating the best in design this 17-18 September. The architectural organisation is opening 700 buildings across London to the public for free: and we’re proud to announce that our very own Retrofit home is on the list.
The Retrofit home is the first of its kind for CityWest Homes. It features the latest in eco-design, including a Wattbox controller which memorises behaviour and can adjust the climate accordingly. Tours to the house are on Saturday 17 September, so please contact Tessa Eydmann-Peel, communications advisor, at teydmannpeel@cwh.org.uk or 020 7245 2542 to book a place.
You can also view what else is open during Open House weekend at http://www.openhouselondon.org.uk/. There are some hidden gems to be found, such as the house where Jimi Hendrix lived and the underground Roman Baths featured in ‘David Copperfield’.
