Making big changes for a better service

The restructure is part of the CityWest Homes customer excellence programme where housing management services across Westminster have been structured into four areas: north, south, west and central. From 6 June, CityWest Homes will see a new way of working with our external contractors. While CityWest will retain overall responsibility for our 22,000 properties, Pinnacle PSG, the housing provider, will work for us managing 10,000 of our properties. This change will not only significantly improve services but also deliver greater value for money.

Pinnacle PSG, who has worked with the council and CityWest Homes for 16 years, will now provide the housing management, cleaning and grounds maintenance services for the north and west. CityWest Homes will provide housing management services to the south and central areas. RMG Ltd will also provide the cleaning and grounds maintenance services to the south and central areas.

Mark Hoyland, CityWest Homes chief executive, said: "These changes will mean a more effective use of our resources to provide better services locally and improved value for money. We feel that that Pinnacle PSG has a strong reputation and a creative approach which provides innovative solutions for individuals and groups of residents. Building on what we have achieved so far, the 6 June will see the further improvement which will continue to put residents at the heart of what we do.”

CityWest Homes will maintain overall responsibility for managing the 22,000 properties on behalf of Westminster Council, but the Pinnacle PSG contract will mean a more consistent and better use of our resources.

Neil Euesden, Pinnacle PSG Managing Director, said: "We were delighted to have won this contract and over the last few months Pinnacle PSG has been working closely with transferring staff and CityWest Homes to set up the new Housing Management contracts which start on June 6th.

During the last 16 years, our staff have developed an excellent relationship with the residents and staff at CityWest Homes. We look forward to extending that relationship to the residents of the newly won contracts in the north and west areas of Westminster.

Our top priority is to deliver excellent, value for money services whilst treating people with respect, dignity and promoting social cohesion. We are looking forward to a new way of working and by using our resources more effectively we can give our residents better value for money.
