Something to shout about: Noise Action Week 23-27 May
Noise Action Week is an annual event co-coordinated by the national charity, Environmental Protection UK and is taking place during the 23 – 27 May 2011. It aims to give communities and organisations in the UK an opportunity to highlight solutions to noise problems, raise awareness of the impacts these can have- and have fun while doing it.
To promote Noise Action Week, CityWest Home’s continuous improvement teams are holding a number of information and awareness raising drop in events at the following:
• Beethoven Centre, Third Avenue W10 4 JL 2-4pm Monday 23 May
• Dryburgh Hall, Abbots Manor estate, Alderney Street, SW1P 4HB 5.30pm- 7pm Monday 23 May
• Lisson Green estate office, Lilestone Street, NW8 8SS 11.00am-1.00pm Tuesday 24 May
• Grosvenor Hall, Vincent Street SW1P 4HB 4-6pm Thursday 26 May
At these events, residents will be able to meet representatives from the noise team, mediation service, estate teams and the continuous improvement teams to discuss common noise problems and what can be done about them.
