We’ve been shortlisted for not one, but two, NFA awards!
We are proud to announce that this year we have been nominated for two NFA (National Federation of Almos) Awards. The high profile awards ceremony is now in its fifth year and receives a huge number of entries every year.
The first nomination is for Sue Walsh in the ‘most outstanding resident’ category. Sue has been a real inspiration, helping to transform an old community hall on the Churchill Gardens estate into a vibrant hub of the community.
Our second nomination is for the Westminster Works project, in the ‘most effective partnership’ category. Our involvement in this project has led to finding permanent employment for over 80 Westminster residents, arranging 60 work placements and organising 20 job fairs.
It’s a fantastic achievement to be recognised and we wish Sue and the Westminster Works team the best of luck when the winners are announced on 12 July 2011.
