Westbourne Park staff leaps into action to prepare for spring
Staff at Westbourne Park estate office leaped into action on Thursday 20 October to prepare the pathway at Keyham House for spring.
Green fingered estate staff planted 25 kilos of bulbs, including daffodils and tulips, which will bring vibrant colour to Keyham House in the new year.
Village manager Ray Allard said: “Although the turnout was poor, the weather was perfect for our recent leap into action. Residents and staff will be able to see the fruits of their labour in the spring of next year”
Victoria Savage, housing manager said: “I had so much fun on the day. I haven’t planted anything in my life so not only did I learn new gardening skills, it will be rewarding when the plants start to grow and I can say - I helped with that.”
