The executive team
Mark Hoyland, Chief Executive
Mark has been chief executive of CityWest Homes since February 2009, and holds a position on the Board.
Since joining, customer satisfaction has risen by over 8%, making CityWest Homes one of the top-performing ALMOs in London. Mark is committed to making CityWest homes the leading provider of housing services by improving the customer experience for both residents and stakeholders and has set the bar for others.
Mark’s leadership centres around the organisation’s people, through the creation of a values led, performance driven culture. This is evidenced through the recent success of Investors in People Gold award and reaching number 18 in the Sunday Times Best Companies to work for list
Darren Levy - Director of customer services
Darren spent a number of years managing properties and services within the RSL sector before joining CityWest Homes. He is now responsible for housing and estate management services, building and property services, and the service improvement team.
Darren also set up CityWest Direct, our in-house direct management arm and helped establish CityWest's new business agenda.
David Harrison - Director of property and development
David started his career at a civil engineering company in central Birmingham and has been in the residential housing sector for over 20 years. He brings years of experience, particularly in Brownfield redevelopment and sees customer liaison as as a significant part of his role.
Petros Christen - Director of finance
Petros started in September 2010 from another housing association. He is responsible for managing CityWest Homes' financial accounts, home ownership, as well as working closely with Westminster City Council to manage the Housing Revenue Account.
As part of his role, Petros is the chairman of the value for money taskgroup and takes an active role in the board's Finance and Audit Committee.
Jo Bowles - Head of human resourses
Joining us in March 2008 as Human resources manager, Jo is now part of the executive team, with the responsibility of driving our people strategy.
Jo started her career in retailing when she joined Marks and Spencer's management training scheme. Jo worked in stores as a commercial manager for nine years until she joined the lingerie department as training manager. Following this, she made a career change into Human Resources where she supported various head office business units.
Leaving Marks and Spencer after 18 years, Jo joined Ofsted where she was the head of HR customer operations for three years.
Jo has extensive HR experience across a range of disciplines including employee relations, restructuring and change, learning and development and rewards.
