Building better
services
G&RMO work with residents to provide a high quality
housing management service but more than that we aim to be part of
the community we serve. As a locally based organisation
we listen to residents and continually strive to improve the
service we provide. Currently we carry out the
following services on the Grosvenor &
Regency estate;
- Tenancy management including rent manage ment
- Estate caretaking and grounds maintenance
- Repairs and maintenance
- Leasehold queries
- Major works and planned preventative maintenance
- Community regeneration
- Youth services
Building better
communities
G&RMO recognises that residents need facilities in their
local neighbourhood to play and learn as well as
live. Since 1998 when G&RMO
began operating we have added the following facilities to the
Grosvenor & Regency estate;
- Baby Play - a specially designed play area for the under 4's on Page Street funded by Sure Start, G&RMO and City West Homes
- Community Playscheme and GRETRA Hall - created for children and their families across the estates forming the social backbone of the estate
- 32 and 34 Page Street - Providing a music orientated youth base and IT suite; a centre of learning for all age groups and an opportunity for all to learn new skills and help future employment prospects at no cost.
Fighting anti-social
behaviour
Reducing crime and anti-social behaviour is a crucial factor
leading to sustainable communities. As well as working
closely with the police and being involved in Civic Watch we
have also made changes to the estate to improve security and peace
of mind for our residents. These include;
- Upgraded lighting to poorly lit areas
- CCTV throughout the estate
- Door entry systems and steel doors to blocks on Page Street.
Building better
homes
A decent home is at the heart of a sustainable community
and G&RMO ensures that tenants homes are of a good standard
replacing boilers, kitchens and installing central heating where
required. We have carried out extensive major works in the
last 5 years both internally and externally which have
enhanced the day to day lives of our residents ensuring
that not only do residents have well repaired homes but homes with
modern facilities.
