We offer courses and workshops to Westminster City Council tenants and leaseholders who are active in the community, for example, members of residents' associations, community groups, tenant management organisations.

You don't need any special skills. Unless we say otherwise, the courses are suitable for everyone.

Most are free, and we can help with reasonable costs, for example, travel or childcare expenses. We provide refreshments as well.

Why do you offer these courses and workshops?

To enhance our residents' skills, knowledge and confidence so that they are able to get involved in their community and area.

What sort of thing could I learn?

It varies, but this year the programme includes -
  • moving your group forward
  • first aid
  • understanding social housing
  • community cultures
  • being confident and positive
