Domestic violence

Domestic violence

Domestic violence is a serious crime. Physical, sexual and psychological abuse are all types of domestic violence. Whatever form it takes, domestic violence is unacceptable.

If you are suffering from domestic violence remember:

you are not to blame
you are not alone
there are agencies that can give you help and support.

Where to get help

CityWest Homes
The police
Other agencies

We work closely with other agencies to support victims and will also take legal action against perpetrators of domestic abuse using our enforcement powers where possible.

Each estate team has a member of staff trained as the domestic violence champion, and you can contact them at the local estate office for information and advice. You may also find our leaflet on domestic violence useful.

If you are unable to remain in your home you can contact the Housing Options Service at 101 Orchardson Street, NW8. Their phone number is 020 7641 1000 if you need help or advice with finding somewhere to stay temporarily.

The police

Please contact your local police station if you would like to speak to a police officer.

If you are in immediate danger, call 999.
