Asset strategy

Our asset strategy sets out our plan for the Westminster social housing stock over the next ten years. We also identify what will shape the future of the stock and its impact on investment priorities.

Five year programme

The five year programme is created by using the information collected from the stock condition surveys as well as through consultation with residents and resident surveys.

The first two years of the programme consist of major works that are secured and will be completed. The further 3 years consist of major works that we believe need to be completed but this may change as we further develop our plans and more in depth surveys are carried out.

Resident Cafe leaflet

We are in the process of putting together a leaflet that will provide you with information on the five year major works programme and invites residents to meet the team to discuss major works coming up in their area.

Getting involved in future major works

We have set up a new focus group which meets monthly to discuss topics such as the funding environment, prioritising works when budgets are limited, resident involvement in strategy and contractor performance.

If you would like to join this focus group, please contact Linda Fendt, policy officer on 020 7245 2912 or lfendt@cwh.org.uk.

Decent Homes and the CityWest standard

We completed the Decent Homes Programme in 2006 well ahead of the governments 2010 target. Since then, we have developed our own Citywest standard that goes beyond decent homes. Residents were heavily involved in setting the standard. Our performance against the standard is  monitored in our performance tracker.
