Cash incentive scheme
We can offer tenants who wish to move to a smaller home
- The highest priority when choosing a new home
- £3,000 for every bedroom you give up
- £2,000 towards removal and decorating costs
- Help every step of the way
The cash incentive scheme offers cash payments to council tenants, who have more rooms than they need, help to move to smaller properties that suit their needs more. It also helps us reduce the number of people living in overcrowded accommodation or temporary homes, who are in desperate need of a larger home.
