Go it alone scheme
Our go-it-alone scheme gives you the opportunity to take control of small scale repairs or a major works scheme as long as your neighbours support it.
In the past residents have organised their own external decorations and damp proofing works, and this has worked very well. The scheme is not for everyone. You can only apply if you live in a house or a block which has ten or less flats.
We would need to be satisfied that you are capable of running the scheme and can meet all requirements, such as health and safety, construction design and maintenance rules. In the past the go it alone scheme has lead to higher levels of satisfaction and savings in money for individual leaseholders.
The cost of the work needs to be under £156,442 (the EU procurement threshold)and if there is more than one lessee they need to run the scheme with you or at the very least agree to your proposals. Any secure tenants within your house or block will also need to agree.
If you are interested in the Go it Alone scheme, please contact?the resident involvement team - involvingresidents@cwh.org.ukor 020 7245 2350 or text 07781 472821 with the word “go it alone” giving us your name and address.
