We understand that your finances can sometimes come under pressure, but it is important that you pay your service charge when it is due. If you don’t, you may risk losing your home.
If you are finding it difficult to pay your service charge then it is important to contact us as soon as possible as we may be able to help.
We can work with you and set up an agreement to clear any arrears by regular instalments. If you are still unable to keep to the agreement, please contact us.
If we write to you about service charge arrears, please ensure you respond quickly or your case may be referred to our solicitors for non-payment of your service charge account.
While we can try to help when needed, please be aware that you are ultimately responsible for ensuring your service charges are paid on time.
You may be entitled to financial benefits that will help you pay your service charge. To find out if you qualify for benefits you should contact your local Jobcentre Plus office, or your local Citizens Advice Bureau.
You can call Jobcentre Plus between 8am and 6pm.
