Ways to pay your service charge

Every year on 1 April and 1 October, CityWest Homes issues the service charge bills. Your account is due to be paid in full by 21 April or 21 October. For convenience we offer a service where you can pay on a quarterly or monthly basis in equal instalments. We have provided all the payment options available so you can choose the one that works for you.

Pay by payment card 

Cash is accepted at the post office with a payment card. Payment cards can be ordered with the Leasehold Operations team. 

Pay by cheque

Cheques should be made payable to City of Westminster and sent to Westminster City Council at PO box 188, Jarrow, NE32 9AY.

Bank transfer payments can be made to account name City of Westminster, sort code 30-00-00, account number 00250821. Please quote your property account number as the reference with no extra digits or letters. 

Pay by Direct Debit

Direct Debit is the easiest and most convenient way to pay, for leaseholders who have a bank or building society. To set up a direct debit please contact the Leasehold Operations team who will be happy to send you a form to complete and return to Leasehold Operations, 137 Lupus St, London SW1V 3HE. 

Pay by standing order

Setting up a standing order is a simple way of paying service charges. This is set up directly with your bank using the above bank details. The amount payable each month will be the total account balance divided into 6 equal monthly installments.  Please note you will need to change your standing order every 6 months according to the new service charge amount. 

Pay over the telephone

Payments can be made at any time by using our automated voice response system on 020 7823 2601. Calls to this service are charged at the local rate.This is an automated service and needs to be made from a touch tone phone with the service charge account reference number and payment details to hand.

Pay online

Payments can be made on the CityWest Homes secure website with a payment reference number and bank card. Payments made before 6pm on a working day will normally show on the account the following working day.
