CityWest Residential is to further it’s funding of Westminster community projects after its most successful year since the agency was set up almost 10 years ago.

The estate agency, which already invests its profits back into the local communities across Westminster’s estates, has committed to support further social initiatives, including full funding of CityWest Homes’ employment service, which helped over 150 residents into work last year alone.

The results came despite a general dip in the London property market, where many similar organisations reported drops in profits over the past year.

As well as funding the employment service, the team will also be contributing towards other initiatives such as youth and homework clubs and have also recently donated equipment to an over 50s Westminster community hub.

Oliver Miller, Director of CityWest Residential said: “This is a major achievement for our team, especially considering widespread warnings of a downturn in the property market, due to uncertainty following Brexit.

“As a Westminster-based estate agent we are proud to put our profits back into the communities we work in. We want to help create places where people are proud to live and this isn’t just about the properties they live in but the opportunities that are available to them as well.”
