Cadent (formerly National Grid) have temporarily shut down the gas supply to Falkirk and Glasgow House whilst they carry out checks on their external network following the tragic events at Grenfell Tower.
Cadent will be providing affected residents with £1,000 compensation, for this and any other questions about these works, please call 0345 070 0203 or 0800 096 5678 both of which are manned 24/7.

Not all residents of Falkirk and Glasgow are affected by the shutdown. If you are affected, we have been in contact by letter, a copy of which is available in the communal area of your block.
Cadent have not yet informed us how long the gas will be shut off for, but have confirmed that until the problem is solved they will provide affected residents with:
- heaters and hot plates
- £1,000 compensation
- access to shower facilities only at Everyone Active, Paddington Recreational Ground, Randolph Avenue, London W9 1PD
The centre is open Monday to Friday 07.00— 21.00 and Saturday and Sunday 09.00— 18:00 and children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. There will be no charge for residents, but you should take the letter you received from Cadent with you as well as proof of address.
Our team is currently on-site with our contractors Morgan Sindall working with Cadent to fix the problem and hope to have it resolved as soon as possible.
