CityWest Homes is changing how it manages parking on estates.

This will take place in phases. You can see where your estate is placed here (PDF 31kb - opens new window). We are currently working on Phase 1 priority estates at Churchill Gardens, Wessex Gardens and the Brunel Estate.

Update for Churchill Gardens, Wessex Gardens and the Brunel Estate

We wrote to you in January to explain that the Council was planning to consult on changes to the way parking is managed on the estate, and asked for your views.

We held some well-attended drop-in sessions and had over 200 responses to our  questionnaire and would like to thank you for your help in this.

See the results of the consultation for your area (PDF 191kb - opens new window).

We are now drafting the new permits and policies to accompany this proposal, and aim to conducting a statutory consultation exercise in September. This will set out where new road markings and signs are planned as well as information on how permits will work. Following this, a decision will be taken on whether or not to proceed.

If you would like to view the proposed plans for the estate, these will be made available on this page as soon as they are ready.

All other areas

We will shortly be seeking residents’ views on different options for parking enforcement and will be making changes based on the outcome of statutory consultation to be undertaken in the next three months. This will set out where new road markings and signs are planned as well as information on how permits will work. Following this, a decision will be taken on whether or not to proceed.

If you would like to view the proposed plans for the estate, these will be made available on this page as soon as they are ready.

Please share your views about future parking arrangements on your estate in our survey so that we can take your feedback into account.

What do I need to do?

Please read the factsheet (PDF 167kb - opens new window) carefully and then respond using the webform here (opens new window), or the questionnaire that will shortly be arriving in the post.

The closing date for this stage of the process is Friday 14 September.

We will consider all the responses when we plan the next stages of this project.
